So, I disappeared for a week and I do apologize!! However, Wednesday was my FIRST official day back. Everyone knows how pre-planning works, so I won't go into the "boring" details. However, I can add that we didn't have air on Wednesday or Thursday, I had to go to a VERY important training Thursday morning, and my county makes students register EVERY year! So those are a bit different, maybe? I have been busy helping others, training them over our new grade book system (very important meeting), and helping our long term sub for a fellow 5th grade teacher prepare! It has been interesting that is for sure! On Friday, we had our open house night. It was from 6-8 and lets just say I "finished" my room at 5:55! :)
Today I am going to be printing and copying up a storm! I've got to get my syllabus finished, my welcome letter proofread, and my ideas together for the first week of school! My hubby has pretty much told me bye! ;) He just made me breakfast and now I'm hoping he will clean house and go grocery shopping to ease some pain! lol We'll see!
Well bloggy friends, I apologize that this is short and rambly! I'm going to get started and calm my nerves and I'll be back with more pictures and updates tomorrow? Okay maybe Tuesday? Who knows!

The district we used to live in had the kids register every year too. Eventually, they changed to an online system for registration which made the whole process easier. Then you only had to go into the school to register if you didn't have internet access. Good luck this week...it's going to be great!!!
